Code of Conduct

Each member of the Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions is expected to:

  • Abide by the rules of CAFE as set out in its Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws;
  • Uphold the reputation and good standing of CAFE;
  • Act with integrity and respect others;
  • Act, support, respect, and abide by the appropriate laws and in general that apply to personal conduct;
  • Promptly pay membership fees as part of continued membership and keep information updated;
  • Will not knowingly hold, assume, or accept a position in which interests conflict with commitment or role to CAFE;
  • Will not make any statement on behalf of CAFE or purport to represent CAFE through any public medium, including digital social media, unless authorized to do so by CAFE; and must reject and will not make any offer of bribery or unethical inducement;
  • Conduct all business with CAFE and its partners with professionalism and respect
