JACQUIE DREW & THE CREW

Jacquie Drew performs “Original country, blues and roots, to fill your soul or STOMP YOUR BOOTS!” With an all-Canadian, original rootsy sound, Jacquie performs as a solo or duo act, or with her band “Jacquie Drew & the Crew.” Jacquie writes catchy original tunes, shreds her own guitar/harmonica/accordion, and belts out vocals with a classic Patsy Cline power, and a Norah Jones smokiness.  With a fun, strong and authentic stage presence (often compared to Terri Clark), Jacquie entertains crowds with her comedic stories and clever lyrics written from a woman’s viewpoint. Her 2008 debut CD, Rolling Wind, a roosty-country disk with 8 original songs, received rave reviews and airplay on CKUA, Golden West, and CBC radio across Canada – it was also selected as a top 12 DIY album by Nashville’s Performing Songwriter Magazine. She recently released her second CD, RED HOT CANDY HEART, in October 2010, containing 10 tracks of all original material. Jacquie and her band perform frequently around Southern Alberta, including numerous shows during the 2010 Calgary Stampede, where she was the featured twice-daily act in the Frontier Pavilion at the Stampede Grounds.  Jacquie is very mobile as an artist and is seeking fair and exhibit performance work at destinations across Canada. Original country, blues and roots 4-piece country/blues band.

PAUL ISAAK

Paul Isaak's unbridled enthusiasm is infectious. As his high-energy show takes to the stage, the audience can't help being drawn into the performance. They find themselves laughing, yelling, cheering, Ohhing & Ahhing, as they become lost in the moment.

What does Paul Isaak do? He's not a stand-up comic, but he is hysterically funny. He isn't a flashy Las Vegas Style juggler, but he will amaze the crowd with his skill. Whatever he's doing, Paul makes the audience a part of it.

From the ground up, The Comedy & Juggling of Paul Isaak has been designed to bring laughs to any crowd. Starting with building an audience and the pre-show warm up, right to the Grande Finale, Isaak has constructed his show around audience participation. Every member of the crowd becomes a part of the act.

When he mounts his six-foot unicycle, everything goes wrong, but an audience member saves the day! He challenges two brave men from the crowd to bind him for the most ridiculous escape possible - a cocoon of Saran Wrap. Throughout this comedy of errors, the audience can never be sure if it's part of the show, or if things have truly gone awry.

Although Isaak has a box filled with shiny juggling toys, playing to the audience is the trademark of his show. He's mastered the art of working with each audience to bring out the funny side of individuals in the crowd, turning them into the stars of the show.

The outrageous effect is complete with fully animated backgrounds.

Why have Dance Heads at your Fair or Festival? Dance Heads as an attraction draws huge crowds creates excitement which includes spontaneous laughter, and is a viral corporate branding tool for sponsors large or small through the placement of a sponsor’s logo on all DVDs as well as the added option of inclusion of their logo in the music video.

Or giving their best impression of the Easter bunny or favorite celebrity? If so, you will have a great evening with your group, large or small! The JayDee Hypnotist, hypnosis show is high energy, and includes participants on stage interacting with each other… eyes open and having fun!

In 1999, I embarked on a career in professional entertainment, by enrolling in an improvisation course through the Rapid Fire Theater School in Edmonton, Alberta. I then started to perform standup comedy in 2003. The lessons I learned doing standup comedy were invaluable.

In 2005, JayDee started hypnosis training, first becoming a certified Hypnotherapist and then taking a stage hypnosis course. After spending over 250 hours learning hypnosis, he completed the training and started doing his own shows. He hasn’t looked back since.

In November of 2008, I appeared as a guest speaker at the National Hemophilia Foundation’s 60th annual meeting in Denver, discussing the application of hypnotic principles to hemophiliacs and their caregivers.  On July 5, 2010 I headlined at the Riviera Hotel, Le Bistro Theatre, in Las Vegas, there was no opening act, just me for 75 minutes and the crowd loved it!

I have had the pleasure of performing at several fairs such as BridgeFest and Crabfest.
